Holy Cranberry Tea
Holy Cranberry Tea is a blend of tulsi, or holy basil, blended with Maine cranberries, lemon grass, cinnamon and ginger root that produce a light earthy and fragrant tea. Caffeine free.
We have used Moody’s Cranberry Bog in Lincolnville, Maine for the beautiful cranberries, year over year. Margo Moody is as lovely as her cranberries. She manages a one-acre cultivated bog. Moody’s bog is not the typical flooded with water bog, it’s a dry bog, enabling us to go from fresh cranberries to drying them in our dehydrators, keeping the cranberries rich flavor. With her family and friends, she harvests the cranberries in the Autumn months.
Tulsi, sometimes called holy basil, known for an Indian medicinal herb.
Fun fact, Herbal "tea" is not technically tea, because it is not made from the Camellia Sinensis plant. An herbal tea is a called a "tisane" or "infusion." Herbal teas are made from any combination of fruits, herbs, flowers, and spices and are naturally caffeine-free.
Hot: The earthy warm caffeine free flavors make this an excellent hot tea. Use 1 teaspoon of Holy Cranberry Tea in 1 cup of boiling water for 4-5 minutes. Add sweetener – we like honey in this one. You can steep the same tea bag several times during one sitting.
Great News! Per the Tea Association of the USA, Tea is the most widely consumed beverage in the world next to water, and can be found in almost 80% of all U.S. households. It is the only beverage commonly served hot or iced, anytime, anywhere, for any occasion. On any given day, over 159 million Americans are drinking tea.
